Surviving & Urban,

Thanks for your views but let me ask you one thing pertaining to my case/story.

In my particular case, the house is a rented apartment and not a family or marital home. And moreover the lease is in her name that expires sometimes in November 2016. So does it make any difference if she leaves or I leave?

I offered to leave because it will be easier for me to leave, just pickup few clothes, your toothbrush and lappy. For her to leave for another rented place along with our daughter and the Belgian Shepherd it will be like moving a lot of stuff.

Latest Update:

In last 24 hours she has asked me twice when I am leaving. I have been cool and told her that I am house hunting, which I actually am. Why is she in a hurry to show me the door?

eagerBS - since you have a rented place and it is in her name, I would leave if I were you.  However, I hope she doesn't stick you with the rent or part of it.  If your name isn't on the lease anywhere, she would have no power to do that.  If it is on the lease, I would be careful of her not paying rent or leaving the place and your name would be mud.
