Zooman,
With 4 kids and a toxic ex-wife I definitely feel your pain and struggle. You did all the right things. But you can’t cure stupid or crazy. And honestly, you shouldn’t have to. For a long time I kept beating myself up and what I could
have done differently to stop what has happened. The truth is, nothing I would have done differently would have stopped this. But there is life after this, healing takes time, trust takes longer. Best of luck my friend.

Yes- I wonder post affair what more I could have done.  I did so much "right", but ultimately, in my particular case, she needed to decide to stay or go.

May you find joy again in your marriage and family.  Take care.

She was divorced with a 6 year old. So we are now a blended family and I am the proud father of 5 sons. 🙂

We met online! Things sure have changed since the last time I was dating!

You have one life to live. Go out there and make it a spectacular one. We only fear what we don’t know or understand.
